ISPs Are Your Friends!
Internet Service Providers are an email marketer’s best friend. Most email marketers spend countless amounts of hours assuring their emails will reach their audience’s inboxes. Whether they’re swapping out spammy words for non-spammy words, removing exclamation points or switching dollar sign characters with images and the like, email marketers must please ISP’s standards if they want their campaigns to perform well.
In the end, you should be applying the same rules to your marketing tactics that ISPs place on your campaigns to ensure maximum deliverability and open rates. If you adhere to these rules, your emails will certainly lead to a better performance in the long run.
If one ISP blocks your email, take it as fair warning that the majority of other ISPs may also block or bulk your email. So make any necessary changes during your testing processes.
Don’t take ISPs for granted. Use them to your advantage. You’ll only be doing yourself a favor.
